Le Cavalier received a 9 for jumping suitability at the 2002 Stallion testing. He ranked first in jumping index, scoring 121.24, among 3 and 4 year old stallions. His total score of 109.49 ranked 4th among all stallions. Competing in 2003 in the division for 5 year old dressage horses, Le Cavalier finished the season as PHR/USEF Silver Stirrup National Champion. In 2004, Le Cavalier competed primarily in the 2nd Year Conformation Hunter group and was Champion at the Columbia Classic Show in Maryland.
Among his foals, Le Legacy won the 2002 Colts/Gelding Class and Lady Julep won the 2003 Fillies Class at Morven Park. The fillies Lady Julep and La First Lady and the colts Legato, Hemi, and Lucky Boy have been premium at their Oldenburg inspections. The filly La Caliente ranked 6th in the nation in USDF suitability to become a dressage horse.
